About

Private, non-medical home support service.

A word from the founder

Behind DIKCARE, one conviction.

Coming home after a hospital stay is a fragile moment. You leave an entire team behind and find yourself at home, tired, with a thousand small things to sort out. That exact moment is why I founded DIKCARE.

I am not a nurse or a doctor, and I do not pretend to be. My job is everything else: a full fridge, a healthy meal on the table, a home in order, appointments written down, and a family that knows how things are going.

I trained to do it properly: caregiver-centered care at the University of Alberta, food safety in Ontario, CPR and AED with the Canadian Red Cross. And I commit in writing, with a clear agreement, before we start.

If you are reading this with a parent in the hospital, call me. We will look at your situation together, calmly.

Our values

Four commitments, kept at every visit.

  • Safety first

A safe home, healthy meals, careful hands. Nothing is left to chance on the day of the return.

  • Respect for the person

It is your home and your call. We help without talking down, at your pace.

  • Clarity

We say what we do, what we do not do, and what it costs. In writing.

  • Reliability

When we say we will be there, we are. And the family is kept in the loop.
