DIKCARE grows with attentive, punctual and well-trained people. If helping someone settle back home after the hospital speaks to you, write to us.
What we look for
- Reliability and punctuality: families count on you.
- Respect and discretion, in people's homes.
- Comfortable with simple, healthy cooking; an Ontario food handler certificate is an asset.
- CPR / AED: an asset.
- French or English, at ease on the phone with families.
What we offer
- A clear framework: a non-medical service with written limits.
- Visits of 3 or 4 hours minimum, never quick drop-ins.
- A written agreement: tasks, schedule and pay set down in writing.
- Recognized training valued.
